Ms. Yu Ling Wang

Founder & Kindermusik Maestro instructor Yuling Wang received her music education degree from Mutsita Umeta Music School in Japan. Back to Taiwan, she was offered a position by Panasonic Company to be a master teacher and on the music education committee.

In 1987, she joined the National Music Studio in Los Angeles as the chief manager of education department. Ms. Wang has been a dedicated Kindermusik educator in San Francisco Bay Area for over ten years. She has won the honor of Maestro Kindermusik Educator four years in a row. Her devotion has earned her the title of Prestigious Music Teacher in Bay Area by Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in San Francisco.

Mr. Galen Lemmon

has performed and taught in the Bay area for over 35 years. He was awarded a position in the San José Symphony when only 19-years-old, and just three years later was named Principal Percussionist with the same orchestra. He is Principal Percussionist with Ballet Silicon Valley and the Cabrillo Festival Orchestra.

Mr. Lemmon has performed with every professional orchestra in the Bay area, including touring and recording with the San Francisco Symphony. He has participated numerous times at California Music Educators Conferences in the Bay area as well as Sacramento and Los Angeles and is coordinator of percussion studies at San Jose State University.

Mr. Lemmon has performed as a soloist with the San José Symphony Pops, the San José Brass Quintet Plus One, the San José State University Wind Ensemble (on three occasions), the SJSU Symphony Orchestra, the Pacific Chamber Orchestra, the San José Symphonic Band and the Ohlone Wind Orchestra.

He is the Director of the U Music in Fremont. As the director of U Music he has composed many pieces for percussion using popular children’s songs. These pieces help young percussionists play Mallet keyboard instruments, timpani, snare drum and accessory percussion instruments.

Ms. Anne Hsu

is currently a percussion performance major at San Jose State University, under the direction of Galen Lemmon. She performs in the SJSU percussion ensemble, along with being section leader in the SJSU wind ensemble. She began as a student in Yuling Wangs Kindermusik program and was the first to graduate from the Umusic percussion program. She has performed with both Santa Clara County Honor Band and California All-State Honor Band in 2008-2010. Anne has toured and performed many concerts in both China (2006, 2012) and Taiwan (2010). She received 2nd place in timpani at PAS California Competitive Solo Festival in 2013. She recently attended Zeltsman Marimba Festival where she worked with many distinguished marimbists and percussionists, such as Nancy Zeltsman, Jack Van Geem, and Fumito Nunoya.

Mr. Nigel Ng

graduated with Master Degree in percussion performance at San Francisco Conservatory of Music, his teacher included Jack Van Geem, Sophia Woo, Trey Wyatt and Shaun Tilburg, he had also participated in masterclass held by Pius Cheung, Joe Porter and percussion section of Berliner Philharmoniker. He is also an active performer in different ensembles, both in Hong Kong and in San Francisco bay area, he had performed with Hong Kong Philharmonic, Hong Kong Bach's Choir Orchestra, Hong Kong Wind Philharmonia and SFCM percussion ensemble. As a teacher, he is now teaching for Music for Minors and teaching elementary school in peninsular area.
